Here's the first layer all stitched up. I decided to stitch around the chevron pieces in black instead of white. If you look at the tip of the chevron piece you can see that it is black. I didn't want to have white thread up at the tip, but the black stitching.

Layer two was a blast because I got to see the chevron pieces all come together! How much fun it is that they look almost connected. Your eye almost connects them for you. Now I want to go out and buy more chevron fabrics (Uh, oh!).

The flower is now complete with it's final dot in the center. It was so much fun fussy cutting this dot for this flower. I was glad there was a little extra black around the edge so that my stitches hid well, If not, I probably would've stitched it in white.
