Frosted Fire
I was curious to see what a shadow trapunto wholecloth quilt would look like when a bright multi-color batik was put underneath. The results are frosted fire. When I went to try to put a binding on the quilt I couldn't find a white/tan that was the right color so I used an orange fabric in the same color as the orange quilting thread. This quilt took first place at Road to California in 2008.
