Harmony's Loop

The center circle is from Authentic Turkish Designs by Azade Akar.  I created an original circular border and quilting motifs.  This quilt took me two years to complete and is definitely one of my favorite quilts I've ever made.  It has won two Best Machine Quilting Ribbons (MQX Midwest 2014 and Minnesota Quilters 2014) and a Best Wall Quilt at Minnesota Quilters in 2014.  All the colorful areas in the border are stippled in colored thread.

This quilt also took an Honorable Mention at International Quilt Festival Houston in 2015 and a 1st Place at AQS Daytona Beach in 2016.  It has done amazingly well in competition and I am so excited to finally have it retire and live at my house!
