Regalia
This quilt was started during a Ricky Tims' Retreat. It is based on his Rhapsody quilt technique. I designed the quilt with his guidance. The curved piecing is some of the most challenging work I've ever done. I love the final results. The outer border is Ricky's hand-dyed fabric and is quilted with Wonderfil Dazzle Thread. It has one twist of metallic thread in it to make it shine. This quilt took many honorable mention ribbons including one at Quilt Odyssey in 2007 and was also a finalist at International Quilt Festival Houston that year.
