I love doing wholecloth quilts. This one was my first miniature at 12 by 12 inches. I found these gorgeous burgundy beads and the idea bloomed. This quilt took Best Miniature at the Vermont Quilt Festival as well as a Best Machine Quilting Ribbon at Treasures of Tomorrow in Wisconsin. It made me smile that such a small quilt could take Best Machine Quilting. It was also a finalist at International Quilt Festival Houston in 2009.
