Quilting away!

I've been working away on quilting Floral Kaleidoscope.  Here's a sneak peek.  I did a whole series of blog posts on this quilt linked here:

I decided to do some feathered spirals interspersed with a few other filler designs.  Some of these tight spaces simply needed pebbles because that's all that would fit well.

Here's the closeup of the corners:

And the whole quilt.  Now to figure out what to bind it with.

I hope you get to quilt today!

  1. Luv the detail and the colors are gorgeous!!!! The fmq is perfect for the "feel" of the piece! Hugs.................

  2. That is one gorgeous medallion!! Beautiful in the floral motif, and beautiful colors used!! Hugs, H

  3. It's gorgeous, Suzy!!! The quilt is striking and the quilting just sets it off!

  4. Simply Stunning! I am doing an article on Applique on my Blog. Let me know if you are interested in being featured.

  5. WOW Suzy you made one stunning wall art here. You are much braver than I am, I still can not get my head around machine quilting, I've just fixed an old machine that has a slow speed on it so going to try one more time using this machine LOL Cheers glenda

  6. Wowee - this is beautiful. I wonder if you decided on a binding color? From my framing experience - choose the third color your eye sees when you look at it from a distance . . . I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide! ~smile~
